Social Interaction: Engaging in meaningful conversation, providing emotional support, and spending time together to alleviate feelings of loneliness.
Recreational Activities: Participating in hobbies, playing board games, watching movies, reading aloud, and other activities to keep clients mentally and socially engaged.
Emotional Support: Offering a listening ear, providing comfort, and helping clients navigate any emotional or psychological challenges they may face.

Transportation

Accompaniment to Appointments: Providing transportation to and from medical appointments, social events, and community activities. This can include driving or helping clients use public transportation.
Errands and Outings: Assisting with trips to the grocery store, pharmacy, or other locations as needed, including helping clients with shopping or carrying items.

Medication Reminders:

Medication Management: Reminding clients to take their medications on time, helping them organize their medication schedule, and ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments. Note that this service does not include administering medications.

Safety and Supervision

Monitoring Safety: Keeping an eye on clients to prevent falls or accidents, ensuring the home environment is free from hazards, and addressing any safety concerns.
Emergency Preparedness: Being prepared to respond to emergencies, including knowing emergency contact information and procedures.

Help with Daily Activities

Meal Preparation: Assisting with planning and preparing nutritious meals that meet the client’s dietary needs, including cooking and cleaning up afterward.
Light Exercise: Encouraging and assisting with light physical activities or exercises tailored to the client’s abilities, such as stretching or gentle walking.

Staying Connected: Helping clients stay in touch with family and friends through phone calls, video chats, or social media.
Correspondence Management: Assisting with reading, writing, or organizing mail, including managing bills and personal correspondence.
